I caught around 20 of these and around 30 chromaiodes and 5 americanus in a huge flight today. I will be keeping 2 of these and selling the rest. Pics shortly!

I decided to keep 3 because I don't know if there will be another big flight of these anytime soon. :lol:

All 3 queens have around 10-12 eggs. Queen #1 is very plump. Getting ready to lay more eggs!

These gals fly during the evening when it is above 75 degrees. I am hoping for some more americanus flights though. Need more of those.

Queens #1 and #2 both have pupae! They will get their pictures taken when their first worker hatches.

They have 3 workers now! First mealworm today! They have around 9-10 more pupae, and some new eggs. First C. pennslyvanicus colony I've ever founded!

Queen #1 has her first worker! She has one more pupa, and it should eclose today or tomorrow as it is super dark.

Queen #2

Has around 10 workers and 3 pupae, 10 larvae and some eggs.

how fast did your C. pennsylvanicus grow from egg to worker i have 4 with 3 having eggs and i want them to grow fast by heating (using my xbox which is always on)

They ate some sugar water and fruit flies today. The eggs in the last update are now all small larvae! They have 10 workers and 4 pupae. Fastest growing Camponotus pennslyvanicus colony I've ever seen!
