Hi everyone!
I'm Dom, and I am joining you all from Tucson, AZ. I am a college student, and I work in a lab at the U of A studying collective behavior and decision making in ants. Although I've been doing that for three years, this is the first year that I have decided to raise my own colonies. I have a Camponotus sensabeanus colony with one worker. I also caught a bunch of queens a few days ago, so I now also have a Crematogaster sp., Pogonomyrmex rugosus(?), Brachymyrmex sp., and one that I couldn't identify. I'm looking forward to raising a lot of colonies this fall!
Here is a photo of my Camponotus queen, "Champagne" drinking honey with her one worker.
