matt.
Maybe I'll start a journal on my new Crematogaster, though she may need diapause first :(

matt.
She has a few workers now after hibernating.

Your welcome, though I didn’t pm as much as you two did.

School coming again soon! Can't wait to take Biology course...maybe I can convince the teacher to do a study on ants...

As of the time I returned from vacation, many of my most prized and healthy colonies have perished; including that of both F. pallidefulva colonies, my two C. cerasi colonies, my B. depilis (she had no eggs anyways) as well as my C. nearcticus colony. RIP to them... All hope is not lost though as all my large colonies have survived and I have got new queen like F. subsericea and L. neoniger! Can't wait to see them grow!

I feel like naturally, no, just because they don't have the genetics to become that size. But maybe, with some CRISPR technology, we could gene-edit their size-control and growth-control genes to make 'em get huge. And, of course, the moon's gravity would help with that, so they can actually grow that size without killing themselves.
