I have had one believed formica hatch two worker i opened her test tube put a cloth over it and stucj it in a formicarium with food, i have prepped my big tank for my capenter ants and she has had one worker hatch i will transfer the test tube tomorrow and when winter comes they will be hyber nating with the rest I've caught a few queens and I've had more egg growth in some not many here in nh the cold weather snaps this year have seemed to make it hard for the ants to be as livley as the few hot days we had. Other then that all the ants are doing fine, any one interested also have 6 dogs around 30 chickens worms might try flies and maggot farming for efficiency and other waste removal that my worms won't eat. This will feed my ants as well as turn waste into soil and feed my chickens producing more waste for my maggots i plan on setting the fly farm up this winter if i am to work on it it'll be a good trapped in the house project along with slowly making peaces for my ant cabnent if i stock pile the supplies i will need before hand i should be set. I've delt with getting some irrigation for next year and kight get more along with as mentioning before geting worms and fixing a fertalizer problem. They have multiplied and to prep them for winter i will need to make atleast 3 full worm bins prepped and mabey have two running by winter. I know this is a long update havent been on or in the best of moods for a month so this might be how updates will be done while i try to get things into a stage i want it. Ill keep you updated on the cycles i create and the cool ideas i come up with on my ant adventures i thaught the worms and farm stuff might be good to add due to the fact that creating as much of a cycle in your enviornment to eliminate waste as you can and produce it into a viable material might be a good idea i have also watched ants canidas video resently and if he checks this fourm out then I'm hoping the maggot idea might help with the problem of having a huge colony... making it bigger yes but if he is able to expand somehow then it might work better then trying to introduce a cycle to kill one of the hardier creatures on this earth, no hate ment here ants canida just thinking of it from a ants prospective sticking anything in their tank might make them act more like the invaiding ussr and waking the bear or invaiding the usa on their home ground no matter what if its ment to thin their population they will rally and try to save themselves and everyone else and as seen in the video the mantis idea seems to be very slow and against a colony that size it won't be affective inless more were added at the rate posted. And if you do read this i have sent a message to your admin and you inquiring if i could talk to you about some of my ideas and if space is a issue i might have a solution? Thank you all for your time and understanding in this post if there is any side descusion can it mostly be on the update part or the close cycle system idea? If sny clearification is needed when i check it i will update the original and post a reply thank you again
