Found in a store parking lot with nothing but hedges and dirt around.
1. Location of collection: Summerville SC
2. Date of collection: 8/1/2017
3. Habitat of collection: Found in a large sandy area.
4. Length (from head to gaster): About 6mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Rough grey/redish/orange.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Large jaws
7. Distinguishing behavior: none
8. Nest description: none

Trachymyrmex septentrionalis, a fungus grower. What an awesome catch.
