Hey guys!

 

Went out for a couple hours yesterday just to look at what species are around. Mind you, i can't ID many just yet..All my "ID's" are mainly guesses based on pics..

 

Also, sorry for pic quality - it's all iphone..

 

Species not pictures but sighted: Opisthopsis rufithorax

Cool pictures. Love seeing the ants Down Under. Jealous that you guys have Myrmecia. My all time favorite ants

Nice area and diversity of ants Licespray.

The little guys after the red bull ant are Iridomyrmex sp.

Then you have a Polyrhachis sp.

Then a Camponotus sp.

Then Aphaenogaster Possibly longiceps.

Then another Camponotus sp.

And the last black one is some sort of Ponerine.

I think the last black one is Rytidoponera Punctiventris but I'd really like confirmation, I see it all the time
