Unsure on species. Location was Chinchilla, Queensland, Australia. I do know that a few of them started running after me and i did get stung trying to grab one. Way too quick for me. Sorry for iphone pics. Nest was about 20" across the widest point.

Those things are huge, I heard their stings hurt pretty bad
