Hi All

Here Jack's very short video update. All seems to be going well, my only concern is that despite the temp being on average about 10c in the shed (min 8, max 12), on checking once a week she still seems very active. Is this normal or should we be worried? Guess it the mild weather? Suddenly dipped today so be interesting to see how she is at the weekend :)

Hey, glad to see jack is having so much fun with his new hobby! I wouldn't be worried about the ants activity level, she will do what she needs to do. It also seems like the temp range of your shed is just about right for her to do well. Just make sure to check on her every 1-2 weeks and make sure she has enough water. You can occasionally give her a drop of honey or sugar water to give her a little treat if she doesn't calm down.

I would make a single post for each ant, so then everyone can see the progress from the beginning. Good luck with your ant.
