I have been playing around with different food mixtures for my ants that contain both protein and sugar, and here is a recipe for one of my simplest creations that all of my 9 ant species really seem to enjoy. Mix equal parts of the ingredients below.

 Creamy peanut butter

 Fully ripened banana

 Honey

 Water

Of course I also supplement other food items, but this might be a good staple diet for some ant keepers with limited access to mealworms, crickets, fruitflies, etc. Give it try!

I'll give it a try. Thank you.
