I'm Nate from Iowa, USA. I've been watching ant care videos/documentaries and reading about captive ant care extensively for 6 months, and started experimenting with homemade formicarium/outworld designs. I caught 5 mated Queens of various species so far. And on May 1st, I captured a first year Camponotus pennsylvanicus Queen with 10 workers+brood from a stump in my backyard, and 6 new workers eclosed last weekend bring the colony up to 16 workers.

I'm excited to learn more and share my experiences on this forum as I expand many collections!
