My crematogaster queen caughted from Maine NY currently in hibernation laid two eggs.  Is it normal for them to lay eggs during hibernation and will the egg be ok.  Queen is in test tube inside the house by windows about 50s to 60s degree.  New to ants keeping I don't want to put queen in my fridge.

then the queen is not in hibernation, if she laid eggs. it must not be cold enough.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

you don't need to, but if you want to, you can.
