brood stopped growing

hi i noticed the brood in my colony has stopped growing. after a bit of research i learned this was a sign of hibernation. but i also read that t immigrans doesn't need hibernation and the ants outside look like they have no intention of going into hibernation AND we are in a heat wave so its not like its time for hibernations either!
