Creating formicarium

using a 5 gallon 16inL by 8inW by 10inH terrarium for my harvester ants gonna be using plaster, using one half as a forging area. Any suggestions on creating it like tunnel ways or just any tips would help? I'm getting the tank soon so I would be able to send pictures later

Okay ill send the sketches of the idea I feel like it might be to big for what I need idk if I could do the same with a 12 by 12 by 12

So this is my sketch I am not a pro but I'm planning to make each chamber pretty deep since I have 8inches of room to work with, I love seeing different designs of formicariums and would like some good feed back please

You can use this for plaster it should be better than most of plasters https://www.ebay.com/itm/161556284672
And you can use oil based clay for making chambers like in the link that ANTdrew send, if you want nice looking chambers

Thank you so much lol I've seen people use play doh to just don't know if that's safe for the chambers and stuff? I've seen beautiful cement just don't have the materials to crave it out

a dremel works good. You just need the right heads.

Yeah you can use dremel and then sand it out
