I know there is a mating flight thread already, but I thought we could get a bit more specific than just "North America." These would be flights occurring within the USA. I thought I would start with where I live, Michigan:

January: None

February: None

March: None

April: Prenolepis imparis

May: Camponotus

June: Camponotus, Formica

July: Formica, Lasius, Tetramorium, Pheidole

August: Lasius, Formica, Pheidole, Crematogaster

SeptemberMyrmica,Ponera

October: None

November: None

December: None

Any Michigan anters, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Also, this thread is open to other states as well, so anters in other states can put the nuptial flight times for genera in their home states as well.

I'm not going to bother typing out all the species I see flying in TN. Too many to do all at once, plus some fly year round...
