Termites on Ground In Arizona

Recently I've been seeing a lot of these termites in my yard and I was wondering what species they are, all the ants in my yard are feasting on them, even the smaller species

Do all termite genera end in ‘termes’?

Nope, not all termites, Zootermopsis sp. doesn't end with termes. that's the only one I know tho.

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp.   possibly infertile   :(,  Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!  :yahoo: 

 

Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen

                    

Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii

There’s a half a dozen or so valid genera that don’t end in termes. Archotermopsis, Zootermopsis, Hodotermopsis, Termitogeton, Eutermellus, Ceylonitermellus if I recall correctly.

so there is termes, opsis, ton, and mellus as other genus-ending terms?

(x1) Tetramorium immigrans ~100 workers, 1 Queen
(x1) Myrmercocystus mexicanus -1 Queen
(x2) Mymercocystus mimcus -1 Queen
(x1) Mymercocystus testaceus ~45 workers, 1 Queen
