Hi, I nearly never used a camera before in my life, so I know nothing of photography. My problem is that now I'm starting to take pictures of small ants to identify them and what is happening is that when I try to photograph small black ants their body in the picture does not come very sharp. I tried to increase light but then it reflects from the ant's body,
I used a macro lens with my iPhone and also bought one of those Chinese "microscopes" that you find cheap on amazon. I know that 80% of the problem is because of the lens and that's why in the near future I will invest in a macro lens that fits my Nikon d3100 camera but if you take a look to the pictures down here you can notice that with the same equipment the yellow body is sharper than the black one, and so I can identify it more easily. I think that the other 20% of the problem has to do with the black colour.
Please is there anything I can do to work on that 20% of the problem that has to do with black
Thank you
