The data center staff screwed up and killed the power to every server on their floor, multiple times, which ended up practically destroying my server, and I imagine others too. I just barely got the forum portion of it working again now. It's going to be a LOT of work getting everything fixed, and it may go offline a few more times over the next few weeks, but it shouldn't be for an entire day or anything like that.

Sorry, man. I appreciate the work you’re putting into fixing it.

If you need help with server fees or something let us know. I know running a big message board can be expensive and exhausting... even if you have a few good advertisers.

This forum is a huge resource, before I became a member I read many of the old threads learning all kinds of things. It's the only place online with some information!

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.

I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

If that sounds like your kind of thing... follow me >here<

I thought it was hacked, due to the... slightly suspicious looking background... but good to see the forum's doing ok.

Also, not sure if it’s just me, but it seems after the little shut down the search doesn’t work too well. It will bring up some stuff, but if you search “Dad” it won’t pull up anything… shouldn’t it pull up the Dad Jokes thread?

The search has never worked very well. It's best to use Google. "site:formiculture.com <search term>"

The forum was down for a while this morning again. It was intentional as part of a test at first, but then I thought it turned into a disaster, but luckily it did not.

Seriously though, Drew, as futurebird said, how about a patreon or something? I’m almost never here these days but you and this forum gave much to me over the years. How can we give back?
