That is what I was worried about...   At least if they do the workers can easily kill them and use them as food.  I guess I'll collect some when I look for C.  castaneus today.

Last time I checked the larvae grew and there was only three, so I guess they at the others?  Maybe it was for the best but...  Update on the wooden nest:  Uh, not going to do one lol.  As it turns out, wood is a fickle medium!  I tried three times, all of which ended up cracking.  So I'm ordering clay, hydrostone, a small container, and natural dye.  (With the left over I plan on making an outworld with small clay mushrooms :3)

another queen bit the dust, one left  :(

I think she at the larvae because she layed another large batch of eggs.  Luckily she didn't scatter them, so she still might have a chance.

Update?

You want an update?  I'LL GIVE YOU AN UPDATE!  Am I a month late?  Possibly, but we aren't going to mention that.  After almost a literal YEAR, SHE FINALLY HAS COCOONS!  Two of them in fact.  She also went ahead and ate around 2-3 larvae.  Even though I didn't expect a year long wait, I guess I'm glad she got pupae in the end (don't wanna jynx it and have her eat them)
