Hey guys,

Sorry in advance if this has already been asked.  I'm having some issues with posting pictures.  I'm taking them with my phone, gmailing them to my computer, and then uploading them to FC.  For some reason, they keep turning horizantally, and it's pretty hard to look at them like that...  Can I change that?  Am I doing something incorrect?  Thanks!

Example pics in my Pogonomyrmex journal

I think it happens when the file size is to big. Just a guess. When you upload them to FC you can rotate them before you click finish.

Hmmmmm, I didn't see that but will go back and try again.  Thanks for the suggestion!  I will let you know if it works.

I tried on both computer version and mobile, but couldn't rotate it.  Maybe I just don't understand what you mean M_Ants.  Thanks for the suggestion though.  Until I figure it out, I guess you guys will just have to view the bad ones.  (Funny but not really)

There's a very small arrow by the pictures. You'll see it right before you upload them not on the first page where you initially add them if you know what I mean.

Happens to me too sometimes, but only if I took the photo in portrait mode.

About 40% of photos I upload to gallery rotate like this. It’s just an annoying glitch, I guess. I always look at them carefully and rotate them back if needed. You will see a little arrow under the photo when you review it before posting.

This must be some sort of problem with the mobile theme. I have uploaded probably more pictures than anyone here and have never had any of them change their orientation. I don't think I have ever uploaded from anything but a computer too.

I always upload from a computer...  I'm on mine right now.  It's also not an issue with sending the pics from my phone to my computer through gmail because in my inbox (on my computer) they are oriented the right way...  I'm also not seeing this arrow thing ANTdrew and M_Ants are talking about.  Probably just a me problem.  Lol.

I take all my photos on my iPhone 5, then email them to my gmail. Then I download them on to my work computer and upload them into the gallery. About 40% of the photos are rotated 180 degrees when I do this.

I might know my problem.  I don't have any pictures in my gallery.  I just upload directly into the post...  I've never seen the arrow thing because I've never seen that particular screen.  I'll see if I can figure out how to do that.  Thanks guys!
