I am not at all against immigration. Please do not throw these horrible, blanket claims out there. My Grandma immigrated from Sweden without knowing a word of English, and I would say she was an exemplary citizen.

I'd love it if the whole population of Mexico immigrated and became productive members of society. But they don't. They come, and the government provides for them and they do NOTHING.

 

So, not only do you hate native ants, you are racist too. Got it. This just further proves your argument against native ants means nothing.

Which is pretty much what they say about immigration to other countries. Its pretty much exactly the same thing, they even say how harmful it is on jobs/economy/health care, and whatever "pathogens" they carry.

I am simply stating scientifically proven facts. Like a Democrat, you refuse to acknowledge those facts. There are scientific articles and many, many examples that prove this. And the government shouldn't waste money on immigrants who REFUSE to work. Everyone would be happy if they actually became citizens and willingly got a JOB!!!

The Democrats have made it clear that they WANT to RAISE TAXES of hard working people. They also apparently don't care about rights, as seen with the Coronavirus. The Constitution of the United States clearly states that WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO GATHER TOGETHER. NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT RIGHT AWAY!!! And that's what Democrats do. They pressured (more like forced) Trump to do it too. Also, why can't churches gather together, but fast food places are still open? People can't even go to church with their windows rolled up! You're ten times more likely to get the virus if you're going through a drivethrough! Now who's racist and hateful? The Democrats always have hated Christians. You are using this to take away religious rights! ANOTHER VIOLATION OF THE CONSTITUTION!!! You are not only narrow minded, but also purposefully lawless.

Which is vastly different than how you put it specifically targeting mexico and mexicans in your post. In the end, everyone is the same and there a lot of people in the US, that aren't from any other country, that do the same exact thing of leeching off welfare and free handouts and do nothing.

Yea let's bring politics into a conversation about ants. I don't know when or where this conversation went off the rails, but I will be the one to set it straight. 1.) Why would you even think about bringing political views and all that crap into a conversation about releasing ants? It makes no sense. It's like saying, that because someone walks their dog they hat communism or something that has little if nothing to do with it. If someone releases natives, that's a good thing, and releasing invasive will be a bad thing as it will run out the natives and trash the ecosystem (I'm literally using 'good' and 'bad' so you guys can understand the simple fact that this is an ant forum, not a forum where you discuss politics). 2.) Why are we calling each other democrats and republicans? Just why? For all you know, someone is a democrat when you call them a republican and vice-versa. Don't make accusations, on AN ANT FORUM ABOUT SOMEONE'S POLITICAL BELIEFS. 3.) Have you guys even looked at what you were typing? If so, how did about 3 people manage to turn a conversation about releasing ants into a conversation about Republicans v. Democrats? I mean, anyone in their right mind would know to not make a thread that went from what AC did, to politics. It just makes no sense unless AC decided to come out and say he was a right-wing Republican (which he didn't). I mean, just keep the peace, and leave the status quo. It's not a bad idea because people come on this forum to further their knowledge about ants, not politics. So just end this conversation, it makes no sense and has started an argument over some immature and honestly, elementary reasons. If you want to have an argument like schoolboys who just made it to fourth grade, you'll be treated as such. I don't ever say this; however, if the mods were going to delete a thread, this would be the one. 

Well in the end, people who care about releasing native ants will go from the niche tiny group they already are, and be replaced by all the young antscanada followers (which is a lot) and other young people who don't care about it. And so the group who cares about releasing native ants will be even tinier than they are already. Sadly the group that follows antscanada will release invasives/exotics, but they'll be the vast majority of people in the near future when they get older. And the people that are against it will grow old and disappear, and the majority will get bigger and bigger.
