This random crematogaster I found one time

This Is a crematogaster queen I found on October 16th, 2019. In La Junta, Colorado, a section of the Apache National Grasslands. I caught two or three queens I believe but two unfortunately passed away. This one however has layed quite a few eggs. Pictures were taken on January 31st, 2020

I personally like how these images came out, Even though my setup was a bit heavier than normal (~3.5 lbs, specifically 1621g). 

I used a common 75-300 mm zoom lense in combination with 12mm + 20mm + 36mm extension tubes and a remote flash to get this shot. I only used a flash for this photo, so focusing was difficult...

I believe Its Crematogaster cerasi, but there was only two crematogaster queens imaged from colorado on antweb.
