We caught these workers hoping that they are Formica fusca or a similarly passive species (to be enslaved by a parasitic queen).

Formica cinerea (queen of 2018)
Formica rufibarbis (queen of 2019)
Formica pratensis? (queen of 2020)
Yep these are Serviformica, probably Formica fusca (but I'm not sure)
Thank you!
Now we just need to find a queen since the one we caught today is not a queen.

In Germany someone already found multiple Formica sanguinea queens , so I guess you will have look too. But I probably would let them found with Serviformica pupae.

I don't want to destroy a nest to get pupae, but we'll see once we catch a queen...
