I see you have phased-out the leafcutter setups -- I take it this means /definitenly/ no leafcutter formicariums before the new server? 

Any chance you would/could sell the special components you use to make them? ie the the non-plaster center hydrator piece, the molded plugs, etc

I never stopped making the fungus-grower formicariums. It's just the Dirt Boxes that I am not making at the moment.

I really couldn't tell you. It depends on too many different things.

Am I just totally crazy then? I feel like I had seen your other leafcutter formicariums listed here — I’m preparing for Atta, so I think the starter formicariums you currently have listed would probably be too small

I've never used a setup in which the ants dig their own chambers. I'm wondering why it is necessary to have a smaller setup for a founding colony. In the larger setup, does it force the queen to do too much work digging to find her preferred moisture level?
