Update. Colony is doing great. Lost the number of workers. I see them.in 3 blocks now. This is thei main block.

RIGHT SIDE OF MAIN CHAMBER







Bottom of chamber. Which also conects them. To their dig site which reaches 2 other bricks.


Dig site. I hope they do mot drown. They have reach the pebbles.


Major cacoon.

I would not call it a mature colony. Almost 20 ants have died this week. It was old age. No majors dead yet. So number are around 300 or 400. Not even near mature numbers. I think these species can reach 10000 workers. Or like some camp species which reach 50000.

Update. The colony is having a population explotion. There are many majors. And lots of minors. Here are some pics.




Lower, and middle left chamber. Still packed with dirt.

This chamber is closed. It is used by springtales there are dozens in there.

Update?

The colony has grown a lot. 1000s. They have tunnels connecting all k23 bricks. I also see majors gurding a second brick. Which mean they are using 2 bricks now. Ill take pics later.

Here is a little video. Colony is in the 1000s. I'm having issues containing them. Not even flu on works for too long. I'm looking for other options.

anttics. It looks like an aquarium is used for these ants. Could you buy some acrylic/Lexan from Lowes or something and cut it to fit the inside lip of the plastic on the aquarium and install a vent or 2 in its center to help keep them in?

Like that. Then you probably don't need to use as much Fluon either. Maybe just around the vents?

Hello the colony has started to be more active. Colony has a few 1000s. Saw the queen a few days ago. All is good some brood. Ready.
