I'm looking for confirmation on my species ID. My Crematogaster queen was caught last fall and I've just now gotten pictures good enough to ID the species.

Looks like you should have wiped off the lens before taking your picture. I'd say Crematogaster sp. but that's as far as it goes with these pictures.
I did, with isopropyl alcohol. I don't understand how, but it seemingly made it fog up more. I've used alcohol on my microscope and it was fine. The lenses work in basically the same way. I don't know why it did this.
