Hello. I found an insect today, it's almost like a beetle. It's about 4mm in length and brown.

Halyomorpha halys aka Brown marmorated stink bug.
First thing you should notice about this bug is it's shape. It's commonly called a Shield Bug due it's shield-like shape, and that is your first indicator of what kind of bug it is. Then include it's main color in a search and there you go!
We have a LOT of these in our area. Another bug you'll prolly find around this time is the Boisea trivittata aka Boxelder bug
