Sure, gold system!

Also, the eggs haven't hatched yet. I dissected one that died and found that they will probably hatch tomorrow (I found a dead nymph inside. There was no extra space in the egg!). I have about 16 more eggs to be named, feel free to still submit names!

Hey guys!
The first locust has hatched! After doing a random name pick, I'm going to name him/her Goldy (I can't tell the baby's gender because its so small). I think that he/she is going to be the only locust for a while, because his/her unborn siblings aren't ready to hatch yet.

Is double posting illegal?

Realistic answer - Try and edit it next time, slap on the wrist, prepare yourself for everyone to make fun of you for a bit. Not only because someone will screen shot it and bring it up later, but even more so because there are clearly two posts with your name/time 3 minutes apart on them.

Personally, if it's like...same day I'll edit my post and I try to do my second thought in italics with a big ole EDIT: before hand. I think it's frowned upon to have multiple posts because it gives your profile a false number for posting which screws up the ranking system which some people care about.

Edit:
But seriously post some pictures of that thing! Not spoiling the Ender's Game story line, but that's how the Formic queen (more or less) gives birth! The whole....probe the earth with her abdomen part.. That is alien behavior compared to humans! Super interesting.

THEY ALL HATCHED!
I've named them all with your names.  Goldy has a little red "scarf" made out of string.

Vasquez is actually a really nice locust. He's the only one I can pick up.

Also, I'm assuming that Goldy is a female. She molted yesterday.

I'm trying to get pics, but they all are pretty JUMPY (ayyy). No good pics yet.

Can we get pictures?

Sorry, but I am unable to get good pics at the time. I'm quite busy (posting is already tricky), but I will try to fit in a pic very soon.

Also, my phone camera is acting up.
