Today I got my first ever Queen and I could not have been more excited, she had 8 workers at the time I counted!

The colony is currently residing in the test tube in a dark room.

I have fed them some honey twice (they seemed to gobble it up the first time so I gave them a little extra)

Tomorrow I plan on feeding them some boiled egg yolk as it's a good source of protein.

Currently Colonies:

Lasius Niger

Lasius Flavus
