Hi! I just joined this forum about a month ago, and as I was reading through some of the posts, I kept seeing grout used to make formicariums. I want to try to make a homemade one as well, so that's why I was looking at the posts. But, what is Grout, and do I need to buy it, or is it something I can make?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks!

But since it is like concrete, there is no way to make this from household materials, like sand right?

Why go through the trouble when you can get a $6 bag at Home Depot?

It’s best to buy grout or plaster off of Amazon. You can get ten lb bags for relatively cheap.

Making your own grout is like making your own ketchup: possible, but why?
