Up to 5 pupae this morning. I gave this colony part of a big cricket last night. Big feeding response of at least 10 workers.

No new enclosed workers yet. But I expect we should have some any day now. The small chamber by the heat cable is full of brood.

Our first new worker of the season enclosed yesterday. She was just hanging out on top of the brood pile.

I've ordered this colony a new custom Nucleus, which I expect will arrive about the time they'll need it. (Which will allow me to re-use the fallen fortress for my smaller Pogonomyrmex colony.)

A Nucleus is a massive nest, though.
