Have you ever kept those completely aquatic isopods? I would love to catch some, but I am having a hard time finding any creeks to look in. All my usual spots are dried up.

never seen any completely aquatic isopods and yesterday I couldn't find any isopods. and right now its 42 F so it doesn't look like I will be caring for any this year as they are probably in hibernation right now like earwigs.

No, although I have seen completely marine isopods at the beach (planning on some saltwater species soon if possible.)

Big population boom, surprisingly the nasatum have only dropped one clutch on mancae. A bit worried for them.

You're keeping maculatum "Chocolate" and the nasatum together?

Normal maculatum, the juvies just look creamier than the adults. And yes, I'm keeping all my "pill bugs" together. Same with my "slaters," those are all together as well.

Some odd colors I found on vulgare. Some of them resemble klugii, wonder if I can isolate that coloration.

I saw a vulgare similar to the middle one the other day.

Surprised the Cubaris murina aren't running rampant everywhere (yet...).

I had a "cull"/extra box of murina and A. granulatum and something went south ... all the granulatum died but the murina are still going. And granulatum are tough little pods, too.

Almost done with the tank, looks like the seal is holding up well. I'll move most of my isopods in here soon.

Beautiful scape!  You should try a paludariam with aquatic and land-dwelling isopods.  That would be sick...

Exactly what I'm doing, a little pond section in the corner. Wasn't visible in that picture because I wasnt finished with it and it looked a tad ugly.

Nice!  Yeah, I didn't see that...  How big is the tank?  It's hard to get a good sense of scale in that picture.  I am actually planning on maybe doing something similar to this!  This is a great read.  :D

It looks nice! Only problem I see is that the isopods will probably chew through the live plants like a cheese grater. Also, referring back to what I said earlier, hybridization may not be an issue with your isopods, but competition sure will. If you are keeping the species together, just keep an eye on the populations to make sure they don't outcompete each other.
