Hello!

So...

I am sorry if I do not present myself, but I am quite in a "hurry"

You see, I am keeping two queens of the species Atta Mexicana

But this morning, when I say my queen with her first batch of eggs, I realization hit me

How do I integrate THIS into a greater formicarium? (images of current housing: https://imgur.com/a/6Q5EEnfand mind that i have two of those)

The maximum space in between the caballitos (tequila glasses) is of about 7 millimeters

So yes...

Can the fungus be relocated?

Can I cut the set up, connect it by tubing, and the bury it under some dirt? (to say it simply)

ANY help will be appreciated (btw here is the link to the "complete" history of the queens http://forum.antscan...p=37621#p37621)

I think the standard setup for leafcutters is to take an outworld and make a bottom layer of plaster of Paris or grout or something similar. Apply a barrier and lid at the top and water the plaster/grout every few days.

I would move your queen(s) into a small outworld with some plaster or something. Take apart the cups and set them into the outworld for her to move into on her own. Once workers arrive, you can offer them leaves and other plant materials. As they grow larger, connect their nest outworld to a real outworld for them to forage in.

I would also recommend checking out this playlist. It follows a young colony of Atta. I think you might find it useful.
