I have a lasius sp parasite and how did you get those to accept workers/ vice versa what i was planning was the ferox method of dunking the workers in water to remove pheromones, chill them then introduce them and hopefully they work out

I give the queen host brood, wait a day, introduce one worker which she will either kill (She is in no danger fighting one worker) or accept. If she kills the worker I give her one more day and then introduce the another worker. By this point she has typically taken the scent of the hosts and I'm free to introduce as many workers as I want.

Pogonomyrmex occidentalis

I might have to move these guys soon, the colony's getting quite large and cleanup is super annoying hahaha.

Formica pergandei
Single queen

Horrible news, this queen died for absolutely no reason...I'm quite mad as they were doing really well. She just kinda started to slow down, started limping, and then flipped over and died.

Dual queen

Also some bad news, the more active queen who was always running around the outworld died. The only good news is the other queen is doing really well.

Camponotus novaeboracensis
These guys have decided to form four little brood piles.

Lasius claviger

Nothing to update other than they've accepted some protein in the form of fruit flies.

Pogonomyrmex occidentalis

I've decided to make my own nest for these guys. Its going to be similar to the pencil case nests by Nurbs but much bigger.

Formica pergandei
I'm happy with the progress they've made, I just wish they would grow faster haha. Its still nice to see the pergandei nanitics take care of the brood but what I really want is to see the pergandei workers foraging.

Camponotus novaeboracensis
Holy cow the appetite on these guys has ramped up! They ate an entire full grown super worm overnight. Feedings are daily now and I'm probably going to have to expand the nest in a few months.

I believe those are HarHeel formicariums.

I believe he meant the Pogonomyrmex’s formicarium, which he made himself.
