I have had an ant queen for more than a month and she hasn't died, dropped her wings or layed any eggs does anyone know her chances of being fertile, and what should I do to help her.
The species is Camponotus sp.

Is she pulling the cotton, or any other distinct behaviors?

If she's pulling cotton, she is most likely infertile.

Just don't check on her for like a month. She will either lay eggs, die, or do nothing in which case you can just leave her for another month.

My journal featuring most of my ants.

My other journal featuring Formica Bradleyi.
