I'm in need of any queen that's fertile. I live in South Carolina and can't seem to find anyone to buy ants from here. Thanks

It's anting season there know. Get out and start looking. Look in pools and on pavement and sidewalks after a rain.

It's only been a week then. Can't really tell they're infertile that quickly. Give them a chance and leave them in a dark warm area.

I would say you should wait a bit before deciding they arent fertile. Sometimes queens will take a little while before laying eggs. In regards to having to buy a queen, I would suggest just waiting. Even if it is to cold now, in the next few weeks it will be warmer and flights will be going on a more regular basis.
Current Colony:
4x Camponotus (hyatti?)
