I have posted about this queen ant once before but at that time I didn't have any way to post closeup photos so I decided to make a new topic as it was almost a month ago.

 

Location: Perth WA

Date of capture: Around the 14th of March, on a rainy day

Habitat: Found in backyard

Length: 7mm

Colour: Black with white stripes on abdomen

Some sort of Dolichoderinae. Possibly Iridomyrmex?

Definitely a species of Iridomyrmex.
