Brachymyrmex dipilis is flying right now. I got some Saturday and got my first Lasius parasite. The parasitic Lasius and Myrmicas were everywhere during the weekend. I got enouth queens right now.
No I meant males. I finally found a photo and they are myrmecina.

Big flights of these in my yard.L. Claviger have been flying for the last 3 days.
I saw a lot of males flying at school today probably Prenolepis imparis. I'm starting to black light but I've never had luck the few times I've gone black lighting. I think it's because i don't have a powerful light, I use a pretty powerful UV flashlight but it's not that strong compared to what I've seen others use.
It is nowhere near warm enough at night now for blacklighting. Order a black light bulb from Amazon, so you’re ready for when it is warm enough in May.I saw a lot of males flying at school today probably Prenolepis imparis.
