Leo's ants (other than ponerines)

Hi,

 

Recently I caught some non ponerine colonies so I will be keeping track of them here.

colonies I have:

crematogaster sp (1 queen, 30-40 worker, loads of brood)

pheidole sp1 (1 queen, 20-30 workers, 5 majors, some brood)

pheidole sp2 (5 queens, 200-250 workers, quite a few majors, unknown amount of brood)

camponotus nicobarensis (1 queen, pile of eggs and larvae)

messor barbarus (1 queen, 30-40 workers and medians, 4 majors, some brood)

polyrhachis sp1 (1 queen)

polyrhachis sp2 (5 queens, 150-250 workers, brood) Found them in an old toilet bowl!  :lol:

Dilobocondyla cf fouqueti (1 queen) RaRe SpEcIes

Tapinoma melanocephalum (3 queens, 5 workers, eggs and larvae)

today I found a  Paratopula bauhinia apparently they are very rare and a professor at Hong Kong university asked if I would donate it to the lab. I'm gonna do it because it has a bigger chance of surviving with them.

Caught some more, now I have 6 paratopula bauhinia queens. No eggs and no dealates.

btw can u post a photo? i want to know what kind of polyrachis is that

2 Odontomachus aciculatus
