Help a clueless guy identify ant (Portland OR, USA, april 7th, 2018)

I found this queen ant while I was a neighbor's having dinner. ( the door was open and there were a bunch of alates swarming outside), but with my skill at finding queen ants, it's probably a miniature flying elephant... anyway, here's the pictures:

sorry about the bad picture quality.

 

The length is in the pictures, it has one petiole as far as I can tell, it's a shiny black color and was found in a suburban area.
