Just wanted to give a quick introduction as it seems I'll be around awhile. 😂 My name's Kevin I live in the High Desert of CA. Back in my younger years I had an interest in ants and attempted to raise queens with little success. Here I am over ten years later back at it again. The wealth of information on the subject these days is wonderful! I looking forward to learning more and hopefully finally raising a healthy, thriving colony. :)

Thanks y'all just caught about 17 V. pergandei queens yesterday hopefully at least on will make it. I'll probably be asking specific questions about this species elsewhere in time.

Welcome!

Very nice, Drew is out in the high desert now, and I am about to join him shortly. What part of the high desert did you find the V. pergandei?
