117 Colonies never delivered our $182 worth of formicarium that was ordered about 8 months ago.  He has constantly made excuses and outright lies regarding our order.

This was to be a birthday present for my son.

EDIT: I've read the email thread and unfortunately have to agree with Drew.

Loops has had trouble fulfilling orders recently and I understand your frustrations. He has posted several times on here about the delays. I'm sure Loops will eventually resolve it.

65 emails thread directly to him over 8 months (and lots of lying on his part) and I should complain to him?

His last lie what that he had actually shipped it.  When I asked for the tracking number he said he'd get that to me once he got home.  Then he went dark (again).  That was January.

Have your tried thinking that maybe he has had problems   but like you said there is no excuse for this and he should have just said yes it has been shipped or no i am still having problems and refunded you, and if I remember he needed to get a new printer, but I do get your frustration.

I've seen the email. There is NO excuse for what happened. Period. End of story.

I like Loops, but can definetly understand the frustration here. 8 months is a long time, and paying nearly 200 dollars worth of stuff and not receiving anything would irritate me too. So, I think making this public was a good move. If it does damage his name, then that's just the way it is. If everything being said is true, which drew has seemed to confirm, I would have been a little less polite if it was me. If Loops is unable to provide people with their purchases for whatever reason, then he should be making it so no one is sending him money as well.

Knowing Loops however, he will eventually clear this up.

However well intentioned he may be, and what ever obstacles may have gotten in the way, waiting 8 months in unacceptable. If you are going to do business, refund the money if you can't supply the items in a timely fashion. Just my opinion. When you sell to people regularly, customer satisfaction becomes the factor that either helps your business thrive, or sinks it. Word of mouth gets around. Hopefully a lesson learned.

I just put in an order a couple weeks ago. I hope this is fixed and doesn't happen with my order as well.

If you paid by CC I would start a charge back, if by paypal I would also open a charge back request. If you do paypal DO NOT under any circumstance close the complaint until you have your money back If you close it based on his word only you can not reopen it.

You should be taking this complaint to Loops himself and not bashing his company.

Loops has had trouble fulfilling orders recently and I understand your frustrations. He has posted several times on here about the delays, and I really doubt he's ignoring you.

Please be patient and DM him on here or email.

Could you please explain even a single reason for why what OP said constitutes bashing Loops' company?

Paypal has a complaint time limit of 180 days.  We're beyond that.

But fwiw, Paypal let me open the case today.  Let's see what happens.

Update:  Paypal Closed the case without indicating why.  I'm guess because it exceeds their 180 day limit.

If your paypal is connected to a credit card you can likely still file a charge back thru them.

Tried that.  No can do.  The credit card company has a 90 day policy too.   :ugone2far:

The most disappointing part of all of this, is he hasn't even come on to say anything about this. And you know he has more than likely seen this thread, considering he follows this sub-forum.
