Hello all, I got one more Hierodula membranacea (Giant asian mantis) than I need. Pretty sure it's a female, L5. (possibly L6) It's free to whoever wants it, aside from shipping cost. Likely around 10 bucks shipping cost depending on your location. You must be within the U.S.

I'm developing an insect exhibit for a children's museum, and a large mantis would be a great addition. How would you keep her alive during shipping? I'm definitely interested.

They are very hardy. Never had a single mantis die on me, especially this species. If it where to die for whatever reason during shipment though, I'd refund your money.

That sounds pretty neat! Which insects are you planning on displaying?
