I believe these vials are the ones used the videos below - seems pretty effective

On hard surfaces like that, you can take a small sheet of paper, like a Post-It Note, and the queen will walk on it, after which she can be easily transferred to a container.  A small funnel lined with Fluon also helps with the transfer.
