Ant queen caught in Parker, CO mid July to late August

I can’t figure out what species this queen is she had workers and they all died. The pupae had cocoons and the queen is around 3 cm

Pretty sure this is Formica, but she might be Myrmecocystus. 3 cm is pretty huge, though.

30mm doesn't sound right. Large Camponotus queens here in socal are 18mm.
Formica or Myrmecocystus, leaning towards Myrmecocystus but need clearer pictures. Are her maxillary palps very long?
