I make my own (mixing honey with cricket/infertile queen alate fat). That is how I feed my more picky ants, such as my Formica colony.
If you are looking for a steady food supply you could breed dubia roaches or you could buy crickets from the pet store and mix honey with water to make honey water for the ants.

i do i have superworms, beetles and crikets but when i not home some ant gel would be nice
Ant gel molds over fast. You could put a tube of termites (with soil) in an outworld, which would make the ants have to dig for their meal.
can't termights pets are not allowed in maine as of 2017
It's perfectly legal worldwide. Just go outside, flip a few logs, and collect a whole ton of termites. It's illegal to SHIP termites, not to KEEP them. I'm pretty sure that Maine is no exception.
idk i asked a game warden in my family about it and he said you can't keep them, but also they are not in Maine unless you are way down Maine
Aren't there Reticulitermes flavipes colonies over in Maine? A quick google search told me that they are common there. Also, it seems that your game warden family member is lying, because termites aren't really restricted (they are very common). If you are making this up to hide the fact that you don't want termites eating your wooden household objects, rest assured that termites dry up within minutes in the open.
o idk then i have never seen them
Termites are found in the cold areas of Canada as well, so there are probably some cold weather species near you, possibly even in your yard. They are very cryptic. I only find them under heavy rocks or in partially burn charcoal.
