Hi!
My ant colony (the Tetramorium Sp. e colony to be exact) has raised several generations of myrmecophiles. I purposefully introduced springtails, scavenger mites, myrmecophilic sowbugs (I lost them sadly :() and even non-myrmecophilic ant-like stone beetles. One of my current myrmecophile species, a pair of tiny white springtails, just laid a clutch of eggs in the ants' brood pile (its pretty cute to see the multi-species nursery). That got me thinking about breeding rarer myrmecophiles, like Myrmecophila pergandei, the sowbugs, and actual beetle myrmecophiles. From what I'm aware of, Myrmecophila, the myrmecophile sowbug, rove beetle & ant-like rock beetles, springtails, and myrmecophilic wasps are not really plant pests, so would it be legal to ship them for sale? I was thinking that selling myrmecophiles could be good for myrmecophile behavior research and extra "decoration" for an average formicarium.

If this would illegal, let me know.

If this is legal, I would really be tempted to go back to Hawaii and catch those beautiful zebra and porcelain morph myrmecophile silverfish.
