Tar heel ants may have something, but besides that there are not many options if you live in the US. You could always make your own for fairly cheap. I've seen people create formicariums with sponges (for hydration) , bead containers and grout (prevents muscle atrophy in limbs / absorbs excess water and formic acid) and have great success with them.

CrystalS has a great tutorial on youtube to make grout formicatiums. $30 or so to buy bulk supplies should easily make dozens of formicariums. Hit up the dollar store for picture frame (glass) and hardware store for grout. Even if you want something fancy, this is a great route to get started with. It's also cheap enough to try out different designs and ideas so you know what exactly you want and what your ants prefer.

I've never bought from loops, but he is a trustworthy and nice guy. From what I've heard, his formicariums are very nice.

I just got a formicarium from "ants russia" that was right around 30 and looks good. Took awhile to get shipped from there to here though.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.

that's strange... Try introducing myrmecophilic springtails (the little white things running amongst tetramorium) into your colony tubes.
