what the first thing i feed my pavement ant after a long hibernate?

We're probably going to need a little more information than this, how large is the colony? How long have they been in hibernation? For my founding colonies, I like to start out with a sweet nectar mixture, maybe a cricket leg or two depending on the number of workers.

Sugary foods to get their energy up and if they have larvae start with protein right after.

These ants eat just about anything!

1) Opisthopsis Rufithorax (strobe ant), Melophorus sp2. black and orange, Pheidole species, Pheidole antipodum
