My ants "come" when they are breathed on

You probably shouldn't blow your ants.
I said breathe. like as in I usually have to hold my breath while observing them...

Oh, okay. Might I suggest one of these: http://amzn.to/2gSC7tG

Smart!

I accidentally froze all my ants

Ants detect CO2 and air movement from large mammals breathing as an immediate threat, and enter an alarm state. A snorkel redirects breathing in a different direction, so you can watch your ants up close without them freaking out. Full face masks aren't necessary. You only need something to force your breathing away from the ants you're observing. Vinyl tubing also works, but the small diameter would make breathing difficult. Snorkels are large enough tubes with comfortable mouthpieces designed for this purpose.

wow... um... ya... I was just going to say that they don't like air, but if you know the scientific reason why, go ahead, you really know your stuff  ;)

Like I know that ants don't like breathing stuff but why would you pay like 12 bucks for something you can make on your own?

Ooh, that snorkel would come in handy when cleaning my C. chromaiodes colony. I can swim in the formic acid they make.
