First of all I bought this ant from a friend of mine and he said he bought it from a Chinese supplier he told me that supplier that he bought said this ant is pheidole nodus but I don't think it's nodus its pretty smaller than nodus and yellowish than nodus. I have messor structor, formica rufibarbis, tetramorium caespitum my messor and formicas are on hibernating right now but I don't know if this ant speice need hibernation they are pretty inactive these days.

It would help to know where in China the seller caught these ants from, it's a large country.

It looks like these could be Pheidole fervida or Pheidole pieli.

Yeah you are right but unfortunately I don't know the seller. I checked both of species and flavidus seemed more familiar but I don't know and I don't think they require hibernation lol.
